Keira leaned against the station wagon, studying the sprawling suburban home – it always was Stephen’s, never hers, and now that he could afford to buy her out, he did, and lived there with his new girlfriend.
The station wagon lurched behind her, as she turned, Zeus was leaning over the driver’s seat, his nose pressed against the window; the glass was rolled down just a crack, and he managed to drip slobber down both sides of it.
