The sun no longer rises

and the flowers only weep

leaving me alone here

in a place I am not familiar with

you gave me a home

and you gave me hope

and you gave me a reason,

a new purpose I never knew I was capable of

I finally accomplished one thing successfully in my life:

receiving you’re undying love

and reciprocating it,

allowing us both to enjoy love and life

like we had never with anyone else before us

a hundred poems and a thousand words could never express

my gratitude to you for blessing my life

as I did yours
