Your words will not sway me,

your charms no longer move me,

I stand firm in my place

now and forever more

So many times, you disappeared

following your impulses

with your so-called wisdom

aflutter in the wind
 

But during that time

your flame was extinguished

and the memories faded

once on my mind

and now not at all

I shall never return

down the path we walked together

I changed course

and turned at the fork in the road
