My sisters were terrible at naming animals. They named a cat Kiki—because, you know, cats come when you call, “Ki ki ki ki.” We had a dog named Jobo, a name Andy and I lengthened to Joseph Beauregard. That was the dog Lu Ann taught to growl and attack us every time my brother or I  approached my sisters’ room. Jobo was not a bad name itself; however, while we had Jobo, we took in a cat that they named. . . Bo. Oh, that was creative. As usual, my brother and I took upon ourselves the responsibility of renaming the cat to something with a little more flair.
