Curtis rang the buzzer on the outside gate and Jaymi let him in. She was waiting on the porch and ran to his car when he reached the house, showing that she was clearly an expert in heels. Curtis laughed a little. “You are completely and utterly adorable Jaymi Robinson.”

“Thanks. Nice car.”

“Thanks. Jason lives in a shitty part of town. Just thought I’d warn you.”

“That’s fine. I’d like to see more of Chicopee anyway. Plus the shitty parts of town in L.A. make shitty parts of town all over America look fancy.”
