Ty didn’t wait for his father to finish. He just popped Joseph in his left eye so hard that the top half of Joseph’s body fell into Nicky’s arms and looked thoroughly stunned for a moment. Nine-year-old Nicky, who was on the verge of laughing hysterically before Joseph got knock out by wimpy Ty, all but dropped his brother and started rolling on the floor, shaking with laughter so hard, it was silent. He sucked in breath loudly then started to shake and silently lose it again. Ty though he saw a little wet spot where Nicky must have peed a little in his pants.

Ty wasn’t laughing. He was about to start crying again.

He hurt his brother. What if he got a black eye? Plus, his knuckles hurt.
