“Oh I’d love to. I need to call my mom. I will be right back,” Rory took her phone out of her uniform blazer and walked into the long, white, sterile hallway and called Mabel.

“Hey pretty. You still at the Robinson’s house?”

 “Yes. It’s awesome. Samantha is here and she wants to know if I can stay for dinner. Can I? Please? Can I?” Rory noticed she sounded like she was ten again, but didn’t care.

“Okay. But you promised to go to temple with me tonight. I fully expect you to still volunteer tomorrow, no ifs, ands or buts about it.”
