Max sat in his one-bedroom apartment above Shiloh’s Bakery on the corner of Main St. and Eastern Ave. If Chicopee had a bad part of town, which it didn’t, this was it. It was the only section of town that had apartments and the one small section of low income housing that every town and city across America has. The difference was, that the low income housing in Chicopee was located in small but very pretty condominiums that looked nicer than Max’s own apartment directly across the street.
