The rest of that first week went by uneventfully and it was nearly driving Jaymi mad. Her classes had all been especially boring that first week. She was tired and could hardly focus, especially in philosophy. Her feelings for Ty only intensified. There were moments when she was so sure he had been thinking about her, she would’ve bet her favorite boots on it.

Jaymi would get a tingling in her chest that was impossible to explain. Just a warm and breathtaking feeling in the shape of a heart, but in the middle of her chest. Not her actual heart that pumped blood into her body, but some other invisible heart. She could feel him thinking of her and she knew that he knew that she was thinking about him too.
