Ty woke up the morning after meeting Jaymi with a feeling of having wasted time and a longing in his heart. He opened his eyes not knowing what was real. That’s how strong the dream was. He was in shock. He rolled out of bed, threw on some frumpy jeans that were on the bathroom floor that connected to his huge and clothes littered room with video games strewn around and soda bottles, most half full, in every corner. The type of beer signs you often see in bar or liquor store windows lined the walls, much to his mother’s dismay. Because the room was heavily draped, it took him a minute to find a clean shirt. Once he pulled it on, he went to make a much needed cup of coffee.
