Might as well get this story over with. 

Rose and Marcus came in about five hours later. Apparently I had missed Marcus’s stealthy exit that afternoon. I heard Rose and Marcus tell each other about their days, of course Marcus left out the part where he told Deidre he missed her then bedded her.

I resented all of them so much that I was shaking. I hated Rose for her blindness and willingness to be with a horrible man who did not love her, Deidre for, well…Deidre just for existing and Marcus for his lying and murderous ways.
