I hope this letter meets you well.

I was telling you about the day Rose decorated the apartment, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I wrote my last letter.

I heard the honk of Marcus’s car horn and watched my sister rush, stub her toe, put on her sweater, hobble to me, kiss me on the cheek, and say “I will be eating dinner with Marcus tonight. You should go up Addie’s,” and hobbled out of the house. I ended up saying “I was going to anyway…” to our front door.
