This was a moment that changed my life forever. It's too bad Jimmy wasn't given any recognition for his bravery. 

I looked at Jimmy, who was watching his father and the young man with intensity. Then Jimmy ran and I saw the young man try to maneuver his way past Mr. Connor. Then I saw Mr. Connor looking like he was getting ready to wrap his chubby, hairy sausage fingers around the young man’s neck. Luckily for everyone, Mr. Connor was too drunk to move with any stealth whatsoever and Jimmy made it there in time.

“Dad,” Jimmy ducked and pushed himself between his father and the young man, using his body as a shield “Sincerely, Dad. Please. Stop it. Please.”
