THROUGH THE NEVER

Unsure of whether he was gaining his a bit of his senses or dreaming or experiencing some combination of the two, Jason felt like everything was nearing a stop. He was staring at the white roof of a vehicle but even that was just a guess. Nothing was clear. He feared his vision had been affected by the fireball but also suspected his scrambled brain might be incapable of processing the images. Blurred faces of people he assumed were his captors leaned over him. He might know more about their intentions if he could hear what they were saying or even read their lips, but the marching in his head continued.
