Wow, he's really nice, I think as I return to the reference desk and gather my things. I'm leaving early on a Friday, my first Friday at work, but no one seems to care.

Outside on Market St. I catch a Muni bus down to Soma and the Hall of Justice. When I get to his office, Detective Chen isn't expecting me, even though I called.

"He'll be back within the hour," the male clerk behind the counter tells me.

"I'll wait," I reply, and take a seat.

I need to think more about what I reveal to Detective Chen anyway. We know they arrested the wrong man. I know this because the real man who murdered Hannah Taylor pushed me into the street. But can I convince Detective Chen that the real killer is still out there somewhere?
