"Hi, I'm Mike from TechTorrent," he says, extending his hand.

I shake it, taken aback, but in a good way. He's not at all what I expected. He's young — about my age, and very, very handsome.

"Hi. So, have you decided if you're pressing charges against Kat?"

"Well, I'm hoping to speak with her first. Is she here?"

"She usually is at this time. Here," I say, motioning towards the elevator. "Let's go up to the third floor, where she typically hangs out."

We get into the elevator, and in the closed space I notice his woodsy cologne, just a light breeze of it. He's wearing all black.
