Over at the Millers, they were just finishing a supper of Shepherd’s Pie, homemade pickles, homemade bread, butter, and blueberry jam.  The strawberry ice cream would be ready later.  Everyone had cleaned out their plates, Shepherd’s Pie being one of their favorite meals and the entire family sat back from the table in satisfaction, their bellies full---for now.

     Myra addressed the three younger kinner.

     “Are ya’all be done eatin?”

     “Yeah, Ma,” they all said almost in unison.

     “All right then,” Ezra started.  “We be needin ya’all to be goin on to your all’s rooms for awhile and find somethin to be doin.”
