Jamie sat up in bed and opened his eyes wide. The full moonlight shone through the window, casting a shadow on the wall.  Where was he again?  Oh, yeah, at a bed and breakfast in St. Charles, Missouri.

     He’d had this dream before.  A few times over the last year.  Strange, Jamie thought, but so incredibly real, like it had happened.  But, it hadn’t.  Not to him, anyway.  So, why was he having this recurring dream?  He just couldn’t figure it out.

     Turning over, he punched his pillow a few times, and lay back down.  He closed his eyes, asleep again within moments.
