“Nothin be changin, Mrs. Stotler.  He be the same.  I’ll be seein him on Sunday, like usual.”

      “Give him a kiss on the forehead for me.”

     “I will,” Justalynn tried to smile back.  “Now, ya go get in line for a combo.  Tell Evielu I said it be on the house.”

     “Oh, thank you, my sweetest dear.”

     They hugged and as Mrs. Stotler took her place in line to get her treat, Justalynn, wiping tears from her eyes, and straightening her prayer cap, made her way back to her small cart and began to refill up the display cases as Evielu took and filled orders.
