This past weekend I drove down to CT for my family baby shower. It’s about a four hour drive, so whenever I head down there I download an audiobook to keep me occupied. I’d downloaded Gillian Flynn’s “Sharp Objects” months ago, but I’d been avoiding listening to it after a friend let me know how potentially triggering it might be. But I didn’t want to pay for another audiobook, so I decided to give it a shot. 

I was hooked almost immediately. One of the things I love about audiobooks is hearing the poetry of the way a book is written instead of reading it and Gillian Flynn is for sure a poet.
