The blade slid effortlessly from its sheath. They had lost the element of surprise, they had lost good men, but they had not lost this fight.

Gunpowder was not something to take lightly, but it had one glorious disadvantage against a blade. A katana did not need to be reloaded. As Drake realized his second shot had missed, he turned to grab another pistol from one of his men. Ben and the remaining two samurai surged forward. The sailors tried to hold them back, but their counter-attack took them off guard. The sailors had gathered too close, and as they tried to move back several stumbled over each other and fell.
