Bennosuke merely shrugged. “Have whatever you want. Shoko, see to it.” Then he turned and with a new sparring partner went back to practicing.

         She turned back to Shoko still smiling. But it was a mistake. Shoko glowered down at her, and Leda felt the world go cold.

         Back in her room, Leda sat in silence while Tsukihana watched on.

         “Honto ni gomen nasai,” she tried again. I’m really sorry. She wasn’t sure how to bow properly, but she did her best, putting her hands...
