Bob departed their company, leaving Tim and Marcus to decide what they would do to kill more than half a day on the jet. Tim picked up a copy of the Wall Street Journal, losing himself in the Options pages as Marcus browsed the collection of DVDs next to a portable player. Tim looked up and chuckled as he caught sight of the case for “Finding Nemo” in Marcus’ hand.

“Hey man—I could use a laugh right now,” Marcus said, smiling as he plugged a pair of headphones into the DVD player’s jack.
