Tim picked up both his cell and work phones simultaneously. He called Marcus from one while punching in Jack’s office number into the other. His heart was pounding as he heard both lines ringing; Marcus picked up first.

“Marc! Listen to me. I know what we’re supposed to do next. We’re—”

Tim felt immense relief when Jack’s voice surfaced gruffly on the other line.

“Hello?”

“Ah! Marc, hang on! Jack? It’s Tim! Listen, I need you to stay where you are. I—”
