Marcus filled Tim in on the various readings and their results as they approached Belvedere Castle. Tim felt a strange sensation as he stepped foot onto its steps; his eyes were drawn towards the great grassy expanse nearby before returning to Marcus.

“That’s cool. So she’s been right with a bunch of your readings?”

“Yup. Every single one of them, actually. It’s scary how accurate she’s been.”

“Wow, that’s some streak! So what did she see in your last reading?”

The color drained from Marcus’ face.

“What? “You said that all of this—the blackout and everything—were a part of the next-to-last reading, so what came up in the last one? It would’ve been about something that hasn’t happened yet, no?...
