The sun rose Monday morning above a darkened city. Still in the grips of the worst blackout in modern history, New York (and indeed the entire eastern seaboard) remained without power. The stifling heat combined with the lack of creature comforts was slowly driving its denizens insane. People wandered aimlessly around the streets below as Tim did his best to keep himself informed and entertained; he listened to the radio, hoping for good news as the city’s collective fear of a terror attack deepened.
