“I think we’ve already left the land of normal behind us. And good riddance!”

Marcus smiled in agreement as he and Tim took a healthy slug of their drinks.

“Okay…so at around four o’clock in the morning, my parents received a phone call from my aunt and uncle, both of whom were rambling like lunatics. They said that a few minutes earlier, around two o’clock their time, they had passed by the guest bedroom…”

He trailed off, allowing Tim to complete the thought.

“…and you were there?”

“Poof. They said I appeared out of thin air. They used the room as an office, but whenever I came to visit…”

“It became your room?”

“Exactly! My parents…man, I wish I could&rs...
