Tim reeled from the question. He had been so caught up in examining each event that he failed to consider the larger picture and what it all could mean.
“I really don’t know. I haven’t given it much thought.”
“So why not start now?”
Tim frowned. He hated to be put on the spot, but he knew that his father was right in forcing him to assess the totality of his experiences. How else would he draw any conclusions?
“Well, okay…”
He took a deep breath, probing his heart and mind, searching for an adequate answer.
“I mean, it all started with the dream. I told you that I had spoken to Jack, and, at the time, what he said made perfect sense.”
