“Aha! Just as I suspected! Do you find it coincidental that you’re worried about seeing your parents and, just when you were most stressed, you had a male and a female vision?”

The revelation hit Tim like a sledgehammer. The obviousness and simplicity of Jack’s explanation made him feel like a fool for not thinking of it sooner, but it did not dampen his elation; he had finally found his solution.

“My God, Jack…”

Jack leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms behind his head in self-satisfaction.

“What do you think?”

“I think you’re a genius! It makes perfect sense! Plus, I have had this feeling that I would be able to get rid of the dream this weekend—the time when I will finally get closure.”
