The bus ground to a halt. Students ran out as fast as they could. Esmeralda leaped out and took in a deep breath of air. “¡Por fin estoy en casa!” She exclaimed. 

Jonathan and Kodi left after. Kodi examined his surroundings. It was his first time going outside of Oaksi Point, Texas, or even the United States. Despite how jaded he was, he still found the sight freeing. They were specifically in Quiosco Múzquiz, a tourist attraction with not many tourists. 

I guess I was expecting a beach if we were going all the way outside of Mexico. Kodi thought. 

Esmeralda began snickering and almost ran off before Kodi grabbed her by the collar. 

“Not happening, Es.” Kodi pulled her towards him and Jonathan. Esmeralda made a slight smirk. &ldquo...
