Kodi vehemently hated Oaksi Point. It was a small town in Texas, off the beaten path. The annoying bipolar weather during the colder seasons and the scorching hot weather in the hotter ones. Hurricanes, dust storms, and even earthquakes.

Oaksi Point was even worse. Nothing interesting happened in the town. There were only a few neighborhoods there and a couple of apartments. Everybody knew everybody there given the population of around eight hundred.

The town had nothing going on during the weekend, most kids just hung around the single park while adults stayed at the bar. For teenagers, there wasn’t even a mall to walk around. Most usually hung around small plazas for their tiny bit of excitement. Kodi wasn’t most. He’d prefer boredom at home than the heat of his state.
