Genny was quiet when Hank entered through the back door.  He’d obviously been invited.  She was the one who showed up unexpectedly.

Lindsey had ordered pizzas for the family.  Jarrod chuckled to himself when he saw the delivery man.  His darling love interest was going to have to stomach the same food she’d already consumed for lunch. 

He realized his stomach was churning from hunger and stopped the young man wearing the Mario’s Pizza polo and cap by showing off his badge.  “Sorry, but I’m going to have to inspect any provisions while on guard.”  He took a slice of pizza from the box, sniffed it, and then took a bite.  “Seems fine.  Carry on.”
