Genny had dropped the children off at preschool on Monday morning and headed for home instead of CBU.  Her husband was being arraigned at noon.  She wouldn’t be able to concentrate in class and wanted to be present to support Hank in a few hours.  She was almost ready to leave when the doorbell rang.

As she peeked out the window at her visitor, she recognized him immediately.  His sandy brown hair was much shorter, but she had gazed into those warm brown eyes for nearly eight months immediately before her Spanish III class, during her senior year.  He had on blue jeans paired with a tan sports coat and ivory dress shirt, finished off with a brown belt and matching oxford shoes.  His style had certainly improved from wearing t-shirts, mostly graphic, e...
