"It's where they store all seized occult paraphernalia, especially if it appears to be 'live,'" Stardust said.

Huntsman added, "They're primarily there for evidence in trials involving arcane powers. If the owners are found innocent, the items are returned. Items belonging to convicted criminals are either kept on for police use, destroyed by a licensed contractor specializing in secure artifact destruction, donated to trusted institutions, or occasionally stored because no other options are viable."

"You have an entire vault for that?" Missouri Hornet asked. "I consulted with the police in Kansas City for fifteen years and we only ever collected three things. Two of them were bogus."
