Jamie came into her lair and saw Sabrina sitting against the wall on the foam rubber mattress, knees drawn up to her chest and arms wrapped around them. Her hair was a mess and she didn't look like she had slept anytime recently.

"Um, hey?" Jamie said.

Sabrina glanced up through her hair, then looked back down at the floor.

Jamie walked over and crouched down in front of the other girl. The cat-like spirit of the lair walked up and circled around her anxiously. "Are you okay?"

"Everything's falling apart."

"Everything everything? Like ... all things everywhere?"

"Saint Jeanne left me after I kissed you."

The levels of what that suggested bothered Jamie. "Well, she's a bitch. I should go beat her up."
