Jamie laughed. Even though she was barefoot and not dressed to go outside, she climbed through her window and dropped down next to Parker. The wet grass lanced cold up through her feet and ankles, but she tried to ignore it as she hugged Parker. As she did, the music from Parker's Starpod caught her attention.
