An idea struck Jamie at that moment. It seemed like a long shot, but if it worked out she could work on at least one mystery that had been bothering her and get a ride to the bout. "Hey, you're good with computers."

"I need to say right now that part of my settlement with the Prosecuting Attorney is that I cannot use my computer for any illegal activities."

Jamie knew that Jaccob Stevens had helped Ashley avoid jail time after her stint as avatar to Eris, but she hadn't heard any details. But that was beside the point. "Oh, no. This isn't illegal. I'm just trying to find the phone number for someone at school."

"Sure. Who are you looking for? I compiled a lot of numbers in my evil days. But you didn't hear that."
