Anon asks: How do you deal with rejection letters from a job, agent, or publisher?

Applied as a freelancer (under my real name) @ [name removed by the author to respect the company's privacy and avoid backlash] & got a notification that my application was rejected & it hurt. I guess its also one of the reasons why I write under a penname so it doesn't hurt as much if I fail as a writer or get rejected by an agent/publisher #writingcommunity.
