Kids today would rather stay home and play Mario Cart than actually make the effort to go get their driver’s license.  I don’t understand it.  I couldn’t wait to get my driver’s license and leave home.  But not my son - he failed his driver’s test twice, and that just goes to show that computer gaming doesn’t really translate to real world success.  The only reason he even tried the third time was because I took away his gaming privileges.  You just have to know how to motivate them.
