very shortly, I was on my own again. Everyone had their own lives to get back to and I couldn't make myself ask for any additional help. From the outside, whenever anyone was watching, Nev gave the impression of a dedicated father and husband. And, as help faded away, everyone assumed that he would be there, helping me out as they had seen so many times when stopping by to visit. All left assuming they were leaving me in his capable and loving hands.
