   The constant push and pull of conflict within my foster home came to a head as the school year ended. I had few friends at this school, very little interaction with my foster family other than meal times, and spent most of my free time sitting alone playing solitaire. The idea of spending yet another year with this family began to wear on me and it began to manifest itself in physical ways. I began to lose weight, which at 92 pounds, I could hardly afford to lose. An ulcer which had troubled me while living with my father, once again, began to cause problems, spending most of my time nauseous and sick. I was living in almost complete isolation in a house full of people, and I began to consider my options.
