there were too many other distractions. People to gossip about, dancing to be done, socializing to engage in. But people lingered as they walked past our table, and looks were given when we went out on the dance floor.
   Halfway through our evening, as we were talking, someone came up with the idea of dedicating a song to Michael. It had been done a few times throughout the evening for other people, mostly slow songs for some couple or another. After a few songs were brandied around, we went up to the DJ and requested, 'I'm just a Gigolo' by David Lee Roth. For us, it nicely summed up the general feeling of the evening. As soon as the DJ announced our dedication we hauled Michael out onto the dance floor, laughing as we surrounded him, each of us giving him kisses as we swirled around...
