Many things changed when I began my life with Eula, and being able to date was one of them. Shortly after settling into her home, I pulled out a number I had kept, but never expected to call again. With nervous anticipation I dialed the number, and heard his voice on the other side, “Hi Billy, it's me, Lisa.”
   “Lisa?” hearing the confusion in his voice. We had not talked since the end of the school year, and I don't believe he had ever expected to hear from me again.
   “Yeah, it's me,” wondering if he was even interested in seeing me again. It had been many months, who knew, he may even have gotten a girlfriend during the intervening time. “I'm not living with my father anymore. I've been put in foster care.”
