It can’t be this easy.

I follow each of the wire bundles in both directions to their source and destination. Nothing too suspicious. One or two feed out through the wall in odd positions, could be the alarm system, could be a botch job for the Wi-Fi. I run my circuit tester across them. Dead, just dead wires with no link.
