Scribes and teachers walking through distant lands

Some thought that all creativity was commercialized

And all artists’ works are watered down compromise

Like the great historians of old

One must examine the past filled with stories untold

To understand the mentality of modern humans

It is imperative to examine blueprints drawn by wise hands.  

However we're getting off the topic

People aren't just hungry for cheesy Hot Pockets

In the distant reaches of different places,

There were lonely mountain spaces

Where sandal clad storytellers spoke atop jagged rocks

People listened, then of their lives mentally took stock
