Author Bio For Sean McKissack:

Sean McKissack's ability to view the world around him and find a story and truth enables him to prepare the stage in a reader's mind for a heart-felt life cinema. Inspired by God, music and his experiences, he captures teaching and growing moments commonly found during adolescence. His writings epitomize the good and the bad in life, the joys and the pain, culminating in the coming of age and wisdom.

Acknowledgements:

Thank you to the reviwers of the original screenplay: "Who I Am".

Notes:

The title of the novella is based on the song "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews. I'm not sure how, but the storyline and the characters just clicked as I heard the song.

The chapter titles are based on songs from the album "Homeward Bound" by Aselin Debison...as kind of the "unofficial soundtrack" to the book.

This is a work of fiction but there nuggets of truth within the text.
