Aaron let loose a serious of snarls and yips. The three dogs heard, “Tear him apart.”

Aaron watched the dogs finish off Stalker Two. He sat back and avoided the human blood because he was afraid he might begin to like it too much if he gave into the temptation of tasting it for pleasure alone. They crowded around Aaron when they were finished, and Aaron nuzzled each one. They had done a good job this evening.

He collected the other corpses and put them with Stalker Two and let the dogs destroy them as well. Perhaps that would be enough to keep interested, yet unilluminated, parties off his trail; he hoped they would think these three men were trespassing and the dogs got them—assuming no one looked out by the road or behind the trailer.
