Thomas intended to join the Lamp of Truth after the war, but to his chagrin, they only took priests. He wasn’t willing to give up on this chosen path so he entered seminary school, much to the approval of his parents. If he had to be a priest to kill these howlers, then a priest he would become. He received special permission to read and study the books on the history of the Race and the Lamp of Truth; his experiences in the war earned him his own key to a small room in the main library where these books were stored.
