Craig put his paper down and looked Aaron straight in the eyes. “You aren’t killing him. You’re shunning him. And authority is taken, not given. You aren’t in the Navy any longer.”
“But the Fectors! You, yourself, said they usually take out any Lupus solitarius they find. He’s one of us. We need to protect him. At least give him a fair trial.”
