Aaron followed Craig out into the loggia and turned left toward the back of the courtyard. The smells of last night’s activities hung in the air. They were so thick he might as well have been slogging through wet cotton. It was as if a pack of dogs had gotten into a case of barbeque sauce. They followed the loggia down and stopped before the statue of Diana. Craig had a serious look on his face, one Aaron hadn’t seen before, and it demanded his attention.
